What the Turkeys on our Team Told Us

You asked, we answered.

(Okay, no one asked. But I love these silly posts.)

It used to be a tradition to aggressively poll team members until they coughed up something they were thankful for.

It’s back! 🎉

Michaela Hyden, the only other person who likes these ridiculous articles, is thankful for her daughter, her spouse, her soccer team, family, and friends — basically everyone who adds joy, noise, and mild panic to her life.

Also coffee. Always coffee. Without it, she says she’d “simply crumble into a small, tired pile of feelings,” which honestly feels like the most relatable statement of 2025. ☕

Royce Gibson, who was our client years ago (yay Royce!), is now thankful he doesn’t have to attend board meetings, only irons shirts on his terms, and is happy to live in a world where Excel has an undo button. 👔

Uzo Onuoha, who pays me the nicest compliments (so she’s my favorite), is thankful for God, family, good people, good food, and coworkers who laugh at her jokes, whether voluntarily or out of concern. 🍝

John Fedorek, in an uncharacteristically wholesome response, is thankful he will spend the holiday with his (super cool hockey player) son and for the “amazing organizations I get to help every day.” 🏒

John Coogan is grateful for (and, frankly, a little oddly obsessed with) hotel reward points. 🏩

Megan Gill says, "Bird is the word." Literally. 🐦 She’s thankful for her new birding hobby. Snowy Plover? Kingfisher? Just a year ago, little did she know that these words would be uttered…let alone screamed. Guess the turkey’s safe this year.

Dave Martin, who certainly likes to have a good time, is thankful for a “good ole combo,” which is apparently a shot and a beer at a D.C. dive bar (preferably watching the Bills game).” So if you’re near the Raven Grill on a Sunday, pop in and Dave will buy you a drink. Promise. 🍺

Karen "Twinkletoes" Rosen is thankful (and I am impressed) that she helped her grandson learn to slow dance before his first, all-important middle school dance. 💃

Neha Sandesh is, we assume, incredibly thankful for Motrin, because this marketing rock star just ran the Philly Marathon...her first! 🏅

And that’s the roundup! Thanks to everyone who played along and proved, once again, that this team is equal parts heart, humor, chaos, caffeine, and pure talent.

May your turkey be tender, your flag football game be strong, and the Excel undo button ever be in your favor.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends! 🦃
