Spend Less Time Coordinating Volunteers

This month's volunteer enhancements are designed to reduce administrative effort while creating a smoother experience for volunteers.

  • Give volunteers the information they need. Volunteer sign-up forms can now display shift dates, times, and remaining available slots automatically. Once a shift is full, it is removed from the form, helping prevent overbooking and eliminating the need for manual updates.
  • Send more informative volunteer confirmations. New volunteer-specific merge tokens make it easy to automatically include volunteer post names, dates, times, and other shift details in auto-responder emails and success pages. Volunteers receive the information they need immediately after registering.
  • Find volunteer opportunities faster. Volunteer posts and shifts can now be sorted by date in ascending or descending order, making it easier to manage schedules and review upcoming opportunities.
  • Manage volunteer activities from one calendar. Volunteer posts can now be displayed directly within the CharityEngine calendar alongside activities, events, and initiatives. You can also choose which record types appear on the calendar and create new records directly from the calendar screenCalendar

Simplify Raffle Winner Selection

Managing raffles often involves manual processes, especially when it comes time to select winners.

  • Draw raffle winners directly within CharityEngine. Organizations can now randomly select winning raffle tickets without relying on spreadsheets or external tools. Simply enable raffle participation on an event ticket to activate random winner selection.

Access Information the Way You Prefer

We've introduced new options that make it easier to review and share information from CharityEngine.

  • Print records or switch to a new panel-style view. Organizations can now generate printer-friendly versions of supported records. Also, users can choose between a traditional tabbed layout and an expanded panel view when reviewing record details.
