In response to popular feedback, we’ve refined our global search functionality to boost your productivity. These enhancements streamline your search experience, allowing you to access the information you need more quickly and efficiently.
Saved Search Preferences
Your search settings—like objects, fields, and dates—are now automatically saved. This means you can set your preferred defaults and search across all records— people, households, and organizations—without having to choose your settings each time.
Detailed Search Results View
Need more details at a glance? Simply toggle the "Show Details" option to preview more comprehensive search results, including addresses, right from the search screen.
Simplified Input and Expanded Search Options
Now, the search box won’t keep old terms, so you can start with a clean slate every time. Plus, you can now search by full address, including zip code, by choosing “All” or “Address” in the field settings.
Keeping donor data safe in today’s digital landscape is more critical than ever. That’s why we’ve implemented key security updates to protect your information and give you peace of mind.
Stay Signed In
We’ve added a convenient and secure way to stay logged in without repeatedly entering your credentials. With two-factor authentication enabled, you can now choose the "Stay Signed-In" option on the login screen. This feature ensures you remain connected while maintaining security.
Auto Logout
To protect your data, users who don’t enable the "Stay Signed-In" feature will be automatically logged out after 20 minutes of inactivity. Based on customer feedback, we extended this logout period to balance convenience with security.
Sign-In Alerts for New Locations or Devices
To safeguard your data, we've introduced automated email alerts for sign-ins from unrecognized devices or locations. This added layer of protection allows you to quickly detect and respond to any unauthorized access, keeping your account secure.
Customize your navigation to fit your needs! We’ve introduced updates that give you more control and flexibility over how the primary navigation displays.
Reorder and Add More Pins
We’ve expanded your pinning capabilities! Now, you can pin more than five pages and reorder them to suit your workflow. This update ensures your most-used pages are always just a click away, making navigation smoother and more efficient.
Current Page Displayed in the Recent Menu
Navigating through CharityEngine just got easier. The current page you’re on now automatically appears as the first option under "Recent" in the main navigation. This makes pinning pages quicker and reduces the steps needed to manage your workflow.
We’ve streamlined access to key information, making contact management faster and more efficient.
Contact Address Now in Record Header
Address details are now displayed directly in the contact record header, reducing clicks and allowing you to access important information quickly.
Enhanced External ID Management
Managing and locating external IDs within CharityEngine is now easier than ever. If a contact is linked to an external ID, this information will display directly in the contact record side tab. Additionally, we've enhanced our global search functionality to include external IDs, making it more efficient to find specific records.
